School With Courage – Projects Week
“School with courage – can it also be more friendly and tolerant?”
This was the motto of this year’s project week in January. It gave the pupils the opportunity to work for peaceful coexistence, to actively help shape the school environment and to develop civic commitment.
In fourteen project groups, the pupils were able to explore this topic from very different perspectives – from tolerance towards fringe groups, conflict resolution, appreciative language, civil courage, cooperation games to the creative design of comic strips and international food. One project group accompanied and reported on all the other groups.
The positive results show that the students have developed a sensibility for this topic and that we are all on the way to improve our cohesion.
